Featured on the Learning Channel's Great Country Inns Program, this 200 year-old Spanish hacienda combines an exquisite historical ambiance with luxurious accommodations that give visitors an unforgettable taste of the Old Southwest. Built by a Spanish soldier sent by King Charles III of Spain to find gold, the hacienda has been a trading post on the El Camino Real and a stagecoach stop between Santa Fe and Mexico City. In its heyday, it boasted 28 rooms, a cantina and a mercantile store. Today the gentle courtyard is a peaceful retreat of dancing sunlight, shady portals and a dazzling, ever-changing display of flowers. Listen to the trickling fountain, snooze in the hammock by the swimming pool, and relax in the hot tub under the big New Mexico sky. A hearty, palate-pleasing breakfast is served in the sun-splashed courtyard in the summer, and in front of a crackling kiva fireplace in the winter. A different menu greets guests each day with entrees such as decadent waffles, sumptuous egg casseroles with a taste of the delicious New Mexican green chile, and a knock-out bread pudding that sends everyone back for more. Breakfast at Hacienda Antigua was featured in Culinary Trends Magazine. Colorful quilts, quality linens, polished antiques, and a fine collection of New Mexico folk art give each room its own special feeling. Hacienda Suite Deluxe Hacienda Fireplace Suite with KING Bed Fireplace-Courtyard-Deluxe Bathroom These suites have a cozy sitting area with kiva fireplace, bedroom with king bed, that open through into the courtyard. Large private bath with old fashioned pedestal tub (some with jacuzzi tubs), brass shower and mexican tile adds to the 19th century abiance.

2 Bedroom Casita CASITA - 2 Bedrooms QUEEN Beds 2 Bathrooms Living Room, Kitchen, Fireplace, Cable TV This wonderful Casita is located next door to the Hacienda. Guest have access to the grounds, pool and Jacuzzi at the Hacienda.
