The mountain has a 11,904 feet summit and there are 1600 ski areas.
Santa Fe Ski Area is in Santa Fe at the end of New Mexico State Highway 475. Go skiing. The mountain has a 12,075 foot summit. Take lessons at the ski school. There are trail maps available, 7 lifts, 73 trails, snowmaking and restaurants. The trails range from easy to very difficult. In addition, there is a ski patrol for safety.
