Santa Fe University of Art and Design is located in Santa Fe. The university offers self design majors and other undergraduate programs. Earn a bachelors degree (ex. BFA, BA). It has a liberal arts core curriculum. Areas of study include creative writing and literature, graphic design, film, video, contemporary music, photography, performing arts and studio art.

Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU) is located in Portales. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs. Earn an associate's, bachelor's and master's degrees (ex. AA, BS, BAAS, BA). Areas of study include accounting, agriculture, dairy and animal science, applied sceinces, pre medical, pre veterinary, journalism, elementary education, English, forensic science, history, nursing (BSN), social work and other studies.

Grace School of Theology (GSOT) is located in Clovis. The school offers certification and graduate programs. Earn a certificate or masters degree (MA, MDIV). Areas of study include Bible and other Christian related subjects.

New Mexico Highlands University (NMHU) is located in Las Vegas. Other centers are located in Farmington, Roswell, Espaņola/Santa Fe, Rio Rancho/Albuquerque and Raton. New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology (NMT) is a science, engineering and resource facility located in Socorro. The institute offers undergraduate, graduate or doctorate programs. New Mexico Military Institute (NMMI) is located in Roswell. The institute is the nation's only state-supported, co-educational college preparatory 4-year military high school and junior college.

New Mexico State University (NMSU) is located in Alamogordo, Albuquerque, Carlsbad  and Grants. The university offers distance learning degrees, undergraduate and graduate programs. San Juan College is a 2 year degree college located in Farmington area. It is apart of the state university system. Southwest Acupuncture College is a classical school of Oriental medicine located in Santa Fe. Study philosophy,  Chinese herbal medicine, theory and clinical application of acupuncture.

Southwestern College is a fully accredited graduate school located in Santa Fe. The college offers continuing education classes, certification and graduate programs. Earn a masters degree (MA). Areas of study include art therapy, counseling, mental health and other studies.

University of New Mexico (UNM) is located in Albuquerque, Las Cruces, Los Alamos. The university offers distance learning, undergraduate and graduate programs.
